July 2007
Well it has been another crazy year. Anthony is working for a new company (he has been working for CableData/DST/Amdocs for the
past 10 years and is looking forward to the change. Unfortunately, all Anthony's co-workers (about 80+) were laid off 1 week
after Anthony left. Anthony too would have been laid off as well, so leaving the company turned out to be a good thing.
Wendy has been busy all year carrying Zachary's baby brother in her tummy. She has taken from Memorial day to Labor day off to
prepare and take care of our newest member of our family.
Zachary has graduated pre-school this year and he will be starting Kindergarten in August (wow time flies). He is looking forward
to his baby brother (especially when he can play Xbox with him). :-D
Oh did I mention that we also had a baby this year! :-) Jacob Alexander Estelita was born on June 19th, 2007 weighing 8.5 lbs
and 20" long. He is so tiny compared our tank Zachary (who was born 10.5 lbs). Check out our ever growing new album:

Wow what a crazy couple of years! Time really does fly when you are busy! I can't believe it has been over 2 years since we updated
our website. :-( Let me see the good:
1. Zachary is still taking swim lessons (he is becmoning a very good swimmer)
2. Zachary will be starting Kindergarden in August (wow where did the time go)
3. Zachary played soccer this year (he did really good to for being the first time out there)
4. Oh yeah, we are expecting another baby boy in June :-) (thought I should mention that here) :-D
Guess baby's weight and date
Vote for baby's name
The bad:
1. Unfortunately we lost Wendy's grandmother this year. :-( She has lived a long properious life and will be missed
by many many folks. We sure miss you nana fry. :-(
2. Zachary didn't have terrible two's but he sure is having terrible 4's :-(
June 2005
Wholly cow it has been a long time since we updated our web site! I guess having a toddler around
really keeps you busy. :-D Zachary is doing really really good. He is now 3 (can you believe it). He
is currently taking swim lessons (we can't wait till he can swim - one less thing to worry about :0). For
his birthday he got a guitar so now he can play with his daddy when daddy practices. He also got his own
digital camera. So we have a lot of pictures of feet and thumbs for people to enjoy (lol).
We are very pleased to announce that Zachary's Yaya has retired and that she has decided to move in with us.
We are glad that she can finally take some time to enjoy things that she wants to do.
We starting to go to broadway shows this last year and we really enjoy it. We will most likely continue
getting season tickets to the Sacramento Broadway. If you haven't gone to a broadway show, we strongly
recommend it.
October 2002
The past four months have flown by. Zachary is growing like a weed. We are enjoying spoiling him and playing with him.
He is our favorite pasttime!!! Isn't that the way it should be. We finally got around to updating his photo
album, so check it out. He also has his own web page now.
Wendy is going back to work at DST Innovis starting Oct 7th and Anthony is going to be spending some time at home. Portal closed their Folsom office so he is currently unemployed and in the midst of
looking for a job.
2002 WHAT A YEAR!!!!
We finally have our new addition to our family! It has been a long and difficult
journey to get us this far but we finally made it! :-) We wanted to thank everyone for coming to our web site and joining us
in the fun for the voting for the name and date for the baby.
- Aunt Carol correctly guessed the baby's name!!!
- We wanted to name our baby in memory of both our fathers so we picked "Zachary" meaning
"in remembrance of the lord"
Our fathers touched a lot of people and we believe that we have been touched by god by giving us this wonderful blessing of
life. We wanted to keep the memory of our fathers and of god for giving us this blessing; hence the name "Zachary".
- Marissa, Steve and Kathy guessed the baby's birth date.
- Kathy came closest to guessing the baby's birth weight (Guessed 9 lbs 10 ounces).
On the sader side, unfortunately, Wendy lost her dad to that dreadful desease called smoking. ;-( He was trying his hardest to
hold on so that he can hold his daughters baby. But now he is in a better place and the baby now has his own personal guardian
angel looking after him! We love and miss papa!!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2002!
Wow! We can't beleive it it already a new year. The past few months just flew by for us. We hope everyone's holidays were joyous. Despite everything we have been through the past few months our holidays were joyous and it was good to spend the season with our family and friends. Now, where to begin to get you caught up on our lives.
Let's start with an update on our adoption process. As many of you know, we did have a match with a birthmother. She was pregnant with twins and had scheduled to have them born the beginning of November. A few days before we were to leave for the birth of the twins, the birthmother called our attorney and told him she had changed her mind. She could not go through with the adoption and had decided to keep the babies. This was difficult news of us and took us by complete surprised. We decided to get right back on the band wagon and started networking again to find another birthmother. We want to thank all our family and friends who have been so supportive of our adoption process. All your prayers and thoughts have helped us get through the difficult time of the adoption falling through and finding a birthmother. All of our prayers have been answered again! This time we know for sure the birthparents will not be changing their minds.
How do we know this??? Because WE are the BIRTHPARENTS! That's right. Shortly after the adoption fell through we suspected we might be pregnant and it was confirmed by a home pregnancy test. The final confirmation came from our doctor a few weeks later. We have made it through our first trimester with no problems. Well, some morning sickness. Our doctor assured us at our second appointment that all is well and there should be no concern for a miscarriage. HURRAH!!!! The baby's due date is June 17th. Yes, we will be finding out the sex of the baby. We placed our ultrasound pictures on our web page for those of you who would like to see.
So, what else has happened in our lives the past few months.... Wendy was laid off from Portal at the same time the adoption fell through. She has been taking it easy the past couple of months, but now the new year has come she is starting to pound the pavement looking for a job. We enjoyed another Thankgiving feast at our place. The food and company was exquisite and we really enjoyed the time with our family. We said "goodbye" to one of our good friends. Not a final goodbye. Kristin decided to move back home to Michagan in December. It was sad to see a friend leave. The good side is now we have another place to visit on vacation.
We are now preparing for the new year and what it will bring us. Wendy is actively looking for a new job. There is not much we need to do to get ready for the arrival of the little one. We had pretty much finished the nursery and had purchased two cribs and a double stroller when we were expecting the adoption of the twins. There is just some final touches we want to do on the room and we want to sell one of the cribs and the double stroller. If you know anyone who may be interested in either or both, we will make a really good deal on them.
Drop us a line and let us know how you are doing and keep checking our webpage for updates!
Anthony & Wendy
Summer just breezed by!
We have some exciting news to share with everyone! We are hoping to build the family we have dreamed of through adoption! We have spent the past two months coming up with our adoption plan, finding an attorney or agency to use for the adoption, and writing our birthmother letter. If you know of a birthmother that is considering adoption for her baby, please share our birthmother letter or our adoption contact information with her. Please share our adoption wish with your family and friends in case they may know of a birthmother that is considering adoption. We'll keep everyone updated with the progress of our adoption!
Let's see what else we have done this summer.... We went to Washington and visited with Anthony's sisters over the July 4th holiday. We decided to give camping a try this year. We bought a tent and went camping up above Placerville. We really enjoyed ourselves, enough to plan an end of summer camping trip Labor Day weekend. We are not sure if the doggies enjoyed themselves. They were pretty pooped when we got home. We think they would of preferred to go to YaYa's and PaPa's instead of camping. We also hosted the first annual Parker August Birthday celebration.
Two Thousand and One half way done!
So far this year hasn't been quite as busy as last. Not much has really happened
to us that is too news worthy (at least good news that is).
Sadly to say Anthony lost his Grandmother in May. :-(
Early this summer we had about a million cubic yards of dirt and bark delivered.
At least it seemed like a million but in reality it was only 18 cubic yards. We
used this bark to finish up our landscaping for our back yard and for the side yards.
Here is what our
rose garden looked before we
finished it and here is what our
rose garden looks like now.
Here is what our
vegetable garden looked before we
finished it and here is what our
vegetable garden looks like now.
We have two temporary roommates, our friend Scott and his cat "Groovy". Scott is waiting for his house to be finished being built here in Folsom. His previous landlord was selling the house Scott was renting and wouldn't you know that the house sold before Scott's house had even started being built yet. We know you want to ask, "How are the dogs handling a cat being in the house?". Mocha, Cappie and Groovy are getting along great! In fact, Groovy handles being around the dogs better than she does being around us. She runs from us.
We hosted the annual Parker March Birthday Celebration this year. FYI... the Parker's is Wendy's Mom's side of the family. There's a whole bunch of family members who have a birthday in the month of March. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much, we think we will be hosting it again next year. In fact, we are going to be hosting the first annual Parker August Birthday Celebration this year on August 18th. So... Parkers mark your calendar.
2000 - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
The Y2K year was pretty busy for us. We didn't think it would be
since there was no wedding to plan or new house to move in to.
In March, we got a new addition to our family,
Cappie.
In the spring we planted a
rose garden
and a
vegetable garden.
The summer was pretty busy for us. We decided we had enough of
doing our own landscaping and hired a landscaping
company to re-do our front yard.
This year we have to decide what to do with our backyard.
Cappie went to
school
during the summer.
Anthony's car finally decided to bite the dust this summer.
Which made Anthony happy, now he could buy his
truck.
At the end of the summer, Anthony took a job with a different company
called Portal Software.
We celebrated our first wedding anniversary
in September and look forward to having lots more. In the fall, I
decided to follow Anthony to Portal and took a technical support
position there. We both are enjoying our new positions with Portal.
We took a vacation to Puerto Vallerta in October. It was
a much needed R&R for both of us. We hosted
Thanksgiving
for both or
our families this year and feel it was quite a success.
Now were in the midst of getting ready for Christmas. We have the
lights up (put picture) outside and the tree up (put picture). We even
have our Christmas shopping done two weeks before Christmas. With most
of our Christmas stuff out of the way we have found time to finally put
the finishing touches on our website. We will be updating it every month,
with news about what has been happening in our world and any new pictures
we have to share. Please visit us virtually at our website or drop us an
email. We wish everyone a very joyous holiday and hope 2001 brings you
much happiness!
